90 properties (128 households)
several locally-owned / operated businesses
approximately $25-MILLION in lost tax assessed valuation
over 200 "legacy” trees
any possible chance of reclaiming Fort Porter land

The large kidney shaped asphalt “plaza” encompasses the current plaza (where Fort Porter once stood) PLUS 3 blocks of Busti Avenue (where homes now stand). The "smaller" kidney above it is flanked by the Duty Free store (left) and multi-level parking for 400+ cars — at the sacrifice of 2 additional blocks of homes. Front Park is the green space to the lower right — with access ramps / roads for Interstate Rte 90 between it and the enjoyment of our waterfront. So much for “quiet reflection”.
