Dear friend and supporter,

For the past 15 months our neighborhood community has been aggressively fighting to protect individual properties from Eminent Domain seizure and impending demolition by the PBA (Buffalo and Fort Erie Public Bridge Authority).

We have incurred many costs associated with our campaign to take back the community and restore the vibrancy of our neighborhood in the Peace Bridge - Prospect Hill Historic District.

On November 13, 2008, our organization is holding a fundraiser to offset our expenses. We are asking for your help in any of the following ways:
• donation of a gift certificate or item to be auctioned at our fundraiser
• purchase ticket(s) to the fundraiser or
• make a tax-deductable monetary donation to our organization.

With three major Adverse Impact Findings issued against the expansion project, (bridge design, air quality and historical properties), the campaign to stop the irrevocable destruction of our historic community is in fast-forward.
